Problems with Pacesetter LT Header Gaskets?
Problems with Pacesetter LT Header Gaskets? I'm going to be installing my Pacesetters soon and am wondering about the gaskets provided with the headers. I've heard some horror stories about exhaust leaks from crappy gaskets (not saying which brand). Has anyone had bad experiences with the Pacesetter gaskets leaking? Thanks in advance

Everyone I have tlaked to says to use your stock gasket on install & if they are too bad go to GM & get stock replacements. I'm in the process of installing mine & am gonna use my stockers.
I just installed mine about 2-3 weeks ago I reused the stock gaskets. I just cleaned them up and I haven't had any leaks. I prefer the steel gaskets that way if one of the bolts loosens up and leaks some you can just tighten it back down instead of the gasket blowing like the ones that came with the headers might.
Damn near every single person who uses the Pacesetter gaskets ends up blowing one out. New OEM gaskets are only about $16 a piece of so, but the stockers usually work fine.

running the stockers here as well, no issues. I threw those junky paper gaskets in the trash as soon as the box hit my garage.
x2 i was in disbelief just looking at the gaskets pacesetter sent - total garbage.
