Default Possible to take motor out the bottom without a lift

I'm planning on doing a motor and k member install this weekend. Is it possible to slide everything out the bottom without a lift? I was hoping to just unhook everything, jack up the sides and roll the whole thing out on the front wheels. I have access to a cherry picker but it will be somewhat of a hassle to get. I have the heads already off the motor also.

A cherry picker would make it much easier. When I pulled my tranny we used truck jack stands and had ok clearance. You might clear it since the heads are off.

That is the best way I have taken many motors out from the bottom just make sure you can get front of the car high enough.

3 floor jacks, a lot of wood and I bet that motor will fall out on the ground <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" />

Well it's very possible...even in a limestone driveway with snow and ice everywhere. Did it this past weekend. Couple floor jacks and some wood blocks and it fell right out. I was worried about clearance but it wasn't a problem...even with my xenon body kit hanging there.

Well my winter goal of April 1 isn't gonna happen. My k member and a arms(had to have them after seeing yours) won't be here until the first week of april. I'm still waiting on my block from ARE (been 2 months) and my rings are back ordered from diamond. I'm hoping for the middle of april.
