I looked at the passenger header again Barry and noticed you can swap any two adjacent primary tubes as they feed into the collector to maintain proper scavenging.

The question about phasing makes no sense to me. Isn't the reason for equal length tubes to ensure proper phasing? The collector is symmetrical. How the tubes enter the collector seems to me to be irrelevant. What am I missing? And yes, the headers are beautiful.

WOW <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="gr_eek2.gif" /> Those are some nice looking headers--Good job QTP

I still like my FLPs but those maybe in line for the other car someday <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

Any chance of revising this 5+ year old design Barry?

I really like the collectors, I am anxious to see some dyno graphs once some people have these installed. Maybe time to switch headers?

Very nice! It's great to see mfgr's like yourself and others finally realizing the benifits of merge collectors <img border="0" title="" alt="[Cool]" src="gr_images/icons/cool.gif" />

Barry is not kidding when he says he didnt clean the headers before showing the picture. I have them and with minimal elbo grease thay have a wonderful shine. Where the bends are in the pipe it does not get the chrome look, but the stait areas do...who cares, we cant really see them on and they will tarnish somewaht. Barry, I'm not sure why, but barry hasn't yet promoted one the the header upgrades, and in my opinion a nice performance feature in each type of collector (merge and standard)...the "Goilet"...or as called elsewhere the velocity spike.

They should help to increase performance tremendouly. When will a dyno be posted?

Ferris, I looked at the LS1 firing order but I still don't see what you mean. It would be best if exhaust pulses were spaced at equal intervals as they enter the collectors. This could only be accomplished if cylinders 1,4,6,and 7 fed one collector and cylinders 2,3,5,and 8 fed the other. This is impractical to say the least. There is no avoiding the fact that cylinders 2 and 6 on the passenger side are adjacent in the firing order. I don’t see how rearranging them in the passenger side collector changes anything. Any chance of you giving us an explanation? You can skip the vena contracta.
