Ordered My Exhaust!
You should do that if you intend to keep your emissions stuff. I'm sure you already know that the race style headers are just straight up tubing with no EGR or AIR provisions. This would be the best way to go but, then again, I have no idea of your state's emmissions rules and regulations.

I ordered the QTP heeders with the emission stuff. So, I guess I should plan on doing that mod as well.

They will be worth the wait. Just give yourself plenty of time for the y-pipe. I recommend making sure the slip joints slip together completely and easily. I think this will be integral to good fitment, because if you can' t adjust them, you won' t get good clearance.
The poly mounts sound like a good idea, but, on my car, I wouldn' t want to raise the motor too much. There isn' t a lot of clearance above the collectors and tubes, and if it goes up too much more, will run shields or the body. They should help with the motor torquing over, but, if you get a Mufflex hanger, for the y-pipe, it should help. I have mine pretty snug ( with a few floor mods' ) and the hanger helps.
Hopefully you won' t find a similar problem, but check your clearance, after the LTs are on. It seems there a a few people with steering shaft issues, or k-member issues, like I have had. There is some adjustability because the flange holes are a little larger, but, it will only account for a little bit. I ended up having to grind, but, it was my choice to, because I didn' t want to wait to have these jewels installed.
And yes, you will want to make love with them
