IN NEED OF GUTTED CATS WERE CAN I GET OR BUY STOCK CATS THAT MATE TO STOCK MANIFOLDS FOR 2000 Z28 M6, GUTTED OR NOT. GOING TO BE GUTTED ANYWAYS FOR A DUAL EXHAUST. WANT TO MAKE IT LOOK LIKE THERES CATS IN THERE.
ANYONE HAVE APAIR FOR SALE THAT LIVES IN CALIFORNIA, IN THE SAN FERNANDO VALLEY.

half a dozen responses, I took the first
one.
Gutted them yesterday, it's a lot easier than
the old ones I did ten years hack. Much thinner
ceramic now. I used a long shank plain 3/8"
drill bit to make a bunch of initial holes,
and the big screwdriver to bust it into little
chunks. Two cats took about half an hour. Be
sure you scrape off all of the "fiberglass" mat
that sticks to the can, otherwise it will come off
eventually and blow downstream to (most likely)
an inopportune place and block up a bit of your
muffler.
