is this common after a LS6 intake install?? ok i just installed a LS6 intake on my car with the egr mod and afterwards now my car surges and idles at about 1100 rpm...i know this usually happens if you have a air leak somewhere but i have checked everywhere and i dont see where it could be leaking from..I also installed a ported TB so i dunno maybe that could be causing it..so has anyone else experienced this??
Not sure, but it's common after a throttle body install, which if I understand correctly you did at the same time.
Usually the computer will relearn the idle after some time. If not, you can try the 'manual' idle relearn process, search for those terms and it should come up quick.

Ummm...Yeah. Agreed. Check to make sure you dont have your throttle blade stuck open, or any leaks where you installed the manifold.

o ok thanks guys..i am gonna put the stock throttle body on to see what happens..the ported one i have is just a stock ported one though. oh yeah i forgot to mention that it seems to get worse once the car heats up...when the car is cold it doesn't surge and idles normal but once it heats up the idle gets higher and it will occasionally surge

Verdad Gallardo well i put the unported TB back on and now the car is back to normal..i tried to search on how to do the manual idle relearn process but nothing came up...does anyone have a link or something to it??

ok i checked everything when i put it back on and everything looks fine..i also di the idle relearn procedure and the car is still not idling right 
I have no idea at all why...i dont see where it could be leaking from or anything so i guess i will just throw the stock one back on again
