You can tell which one you have because the older LS1 intake's part# is on passenger side where the Z06 type is on the drivers side.

2002 LS1 intake is the same as Z06 intake on 2001 I was told that 2002 model year F-bodys got the 2001 Z06 intake. This was from someone on another board, (dare I say SLPeng Forum) who was a moderator and worked within the GM/Camaro organization on Scott's team. This was a post of considerable discussion until he chimed in with the "facts".
Honestly, I don't remember if they discussed if there were different part numbers, but that would not surprise me since GM has done this for years. It even made an industry for cross reference manuals.
