Default True duals out the back???

I've been reading a lot lately trying to figure out what I want to do with my exhaust, Now what exactly would I have to do to make my exhaust TRUE duals over both sides of the rear and out the back. The PHR is an issue, I do know that, but how are people working their way around it? Any help would be appreciated.

First off, you would probably want to get a set of headers first. Run an X-pipe and you'll probably want something like dynomax bullets in there. Be careful with your ground clearance because that seems to be the predominant issue with true dual pipes. GL!

Check with Cysevans. He has true dual over both sides , out the back, on a lowered TA. I know he had to buy a smaler torque arm, and they fabbed up some sort of bracket to lower the drivers side of the panhard bar.

Here are some pics: http://www.angelfire.com/on2/Vinnie/truedual.html
He also has cats on there now too.

I solved it by lowering the lower PHR as opposed to removing the upper PHR.

If you go bigger than a 2.5" pipe this wont work. But with 2.5" pipe you can run them both over the axle were the stock pipe comes over.

I had to go under the axle to go out the back with my setup. It worked fine but thats a lot cooler.

Hey 2001camaroguy, do you have any pics of your setup and also how bad is your ground clearance? I was wondering how this would work on my car when I was checking out a vette in the parking lot at work.

If I don't go true duals out the back I would really like to try the low profile flows and go with a sidepipe setup, I know that it's a pain but i'm the type that likes to try new stuff and solve problems. Plus my dad had a 73 stang with sidepipes and I've liked them forever. Side exit through my ground effects would look sweet, kinda like a roush!

I am getting a true dual with in house made x-pipe, 3" all the way out. He said that both tubes go over the passenger side stock spot. The shop is LaBrea Motorsports in Ca, and they do awsome work. He said that they are a huge pain in the *** though because the whole system is mandrel bent in house.
