I have Hooker with a cutout and I have no drone whatsoever. The Hooker sounds stealthy with no rasp, you can her it well when you put your foot in it.

I have a convertible so I can hear it loud and clear and it sounds amazing.

IMO it sounds much deeper and throaty compared to the GMMG. GMMG sounds old school, Hooker sounds stealthy, new school. Depends what sound you want. It's all good.

i had the tsp rumbler and it sounded great with stock manifolds and cats, real deep and aggressive, the hooker is on my car now and it is too quiet. i think im going with magnamouth or borla next

oh God the dual/dual sounds way better than the hooker. the dual/dual is the closest you'll ever get to mustang sound in an f-body. around 2500 rpms, i could swear i'm driving a 5.0 stang. i can't wait to get a set of headers.

The dual/dual came stock on my hawk. It sounded good a WOT but it was too quiet at idle and while just driving around. I don't think it sounded like a fox body though. I want to hear the loudmouth II in person or at least a good sound clip. The 2 on ls1 sounds kinda suck. I am pretty content with my loudmouth and SLP y-pipe but I have stock manifolds and cats.

Hooker is actually a really good flowing exhaust...I recommend it(sound wise, I cannot give numerical gains on power). From what I have heard on ls1sounds.com and other people on this site, GMMG is another good choice as well.

i hear the dual/dual do sound good, however i have a few buddies with 5.0s and i really dont like the sound of them (they have 2 totally different exhaust setups and sound the same to me)

it's a little different. it's not exactly like a mustang, just mustang-like at certain rpm's. and WOT it's not like a mustang - it's very exotic. it's very uncharacteristic of an f-body. there's no rasp and it's very smooth, but has throatiness to it. i'm going to keep it, even though it's a little quiet. when i do headers, i'll just add a cutout for "those days". if you're anywhere in the south jersey area, i'd be happy to show you in person.

I voted Magnaflow. It's what I currently have on my LS1, and I have a CORSA on my LT1 which sounds great and looks nice too. If money weren't an issue, I would have probably said CORSA or GMMG (Corsa looks way better). But for the price, sound, looks, and performance, I like what the Magnaflow exhaust has to offer.

I voted Hooker. I have an audio clip in my sig of my LS2 402. It has 1-7/8" QTP's with 3" Y and Hooker Catback.

What about the good old SLP Dual Dual? It's the only catback that I know that won't rasp with longtubes and y-pipe with cats and still be relatively quiet. Is that catback now too mature for all the showy kids on this board?

Isn't the dual/dual being discontinued by slp?

That's what I heard, but I'm not sure. I bought mine last year from lmperformance.com, but haven't installed it yet.
