Hooker Aerochamber is not quiet if you're running LT headers/ORYP. My yuppie middle class neighbors are starting to rattle their sabors (sp). LOL
I researched and read that the Hooker catback is quiet, maybe quietest of the loud category.

I also have the SLP dual/dual on my hawk, it sounded great when I first got the car but I guess I'm getting used to it and it is way too tame for me now. I have been considering the LM2 thinking the LM would be over the top for me.

Can anyone give an idea on noise level for the LM2 on a scale from 1 - 10.

If the SLP dual/dual is a 1, and a LoudMouth is a 10, where would the LoudMouth2 be? Is it an 8.. 5... or what? Any ideas?
Thanks

If your not planning in changing the manifolds or cats go with the LM 1 and it sounds even better with the SPL y-pipe. The y-pipe gets rid of a lot of the rasp and harshness that everyone complains about. And you can always swap the LM resonator for the LM 2 muffler. But that's what I have and I love it I get a lot of compliments from it. But I have never heard the LM2 in person just video clips.

SLP LM I is great on stock manifolds and cats, but headers/pry it gets real loud real quick and if you throw a cam in there its unreal. I had the SLP LM I on my car and loved it on the stock manifolds. Then I ran it with the mac midlengths and catted y-pipe and it was a little louder but still not too much. However once I gutted my cats and had my 232/238 cam install it was just too much. I would have a headache driving my car more than 15 minutes. My vote si for the magnaflow. It has a nice deep tone to it and is fairly quiet at idle, but WOT it sounds real mean and it sounds awesome on my setup, couldnt be happier.

Yeah I'll be getting LT's fairly soon and I will need to swap out the resonator with a bullet muffler. I really don't want to change the whole cat back. I want to hear the LM2 in person along with the borla XR-1, dynomax and magnaflow bullets. so I can decide which way to go.

I have LTs and ORY and love my SLP dual/dual and electric cutout combination. It's the best of both worlds at the flip of a switch: it sounds great and is quiet inside the car with the plate closed, and is ready to raise hell with it open. The only drawback is weight; the D/D muffler isn't light.

The "Dual/Dual" name is no more. I believe SLP makes a similar exhaust but has changed the name. No offense but with cats and stock exhaust the dual/dual is weak sounding. Sounds like my Envoy I hear it sounds good without cats and headers but I HATED my Dual/Dual sound with cats and stock manifolds. I could not wait to dump that for the GMMG and I'm no kid either.

Yeah, the dual/dual is pretty weak on an otherwise stock car. It sounds freaking great with LTs, ORY, and the FM13 though.

I have a 4inch spintech system and its by far my favorite system. Dont really need a cutout, no clearance issues, no rasp and great deep sound. Definatly love it!

I don't even see why this poll was created. GMMG is going to win.................. regardless of how it sounds.

I vote other and like the SLP dual/dual. I somehow don't like a loud car any more, I want it to sound nice. I picked up a used one myself from a *mint* 21k mile Firehawk. It should be here any day now.
