That's the way to go. But if you really want a catback go with the GMMG and use cats.

Go Magnaflow, sounds great even with the cats removed, and priced right with shiny chrome and stainless steel.

Is an STS Exhaust appropriate for this thread? I know its a rear mounted turbo w/exhaust but i cream in my pants when i hear them.

After a lot of angst, I went with the Hooker. I had to buy it without hearing one and don't plan on headers or cat removal (unless of course they go sour...). The LS1 sounds and most of the 100s of posts I read confirmed that there was a nice deep rumble, no drone, and enough bark when you get on it to scare off the 94 civic with a folgers muffler on it. My SLP flowpac arrives on Monday, and with some good luck, the exhaust will be on by next Friday. I sometimes head to the airport at 4:00 AM and have retired neighbors... Yes, they have failing hearing, but who needs the grief? I think cutouts or the borla are a better solution if you don't want to get tickets and or neighbor grief.

lt's & ory i used B&B and Dual Dual like them both. With your cut-out why worry about your catback's flow? Go after what sounds best to ya.

Unfortunately, with a poll like this you are going to get as many different opinions as there are people voting. Personally, I don't like a loud raspy sound. If I am cruising I want the car to be quiet enough to have a conversation or hear the radio. I can't imagine why anyone would want the LoudMouth, but it still manages to be a popular exhaust. I have heard every exhaust listed up there except the Bassani in person and I like the Corsa the best which is why I bought one. A close second is the magnaflow if you have a nice cam. Take that as you will.
