my advice with that kit (and what I did) is start at the headers and work back. Just ducttape the xpipe to a jackstand and position it where you want it and build the pipe to it and from it.

Anyone know the best way to turn a TSP ORY into a true dual setup? Like what x pipe to choose? My setup is way to raspy for my taste.

Ground clearance and possible suspension interference. I run over the axle into cme with no problems.

I'm running duals under the axle and the clearance sucks. I'm waiting on 2 magnaflows to rework the whole setup.

How small pipes can you use without beeing to restrictive for a stock 2001 ls1?

I need as much ground clearance as possible.

Say, doesw anyone know how much exhaust piping they used? i estimated about 30 feet (the length of a trans am is about 190") so about 150 from headers to tips, mulitply by 2 pipes (duals) and add 50" for good messure 350/12 29 feet and some change..

ill get a close estimation when i get home. anyone know off hand?>

I dont know about the length question, but as for me I would do it once and make 3 inch fit, Or thats actually exactly what I did. I now have this crazy deep tone that people often search for and never find. Id do it again a million times.
