Got some Texas Speed true duals installed on mine a few weeks ago. Nicely made exhaust, I was expecting it to be loud but its actually quieter than the Ypipe GMMG setup I had on it. Its just got a different sound that I'm not used to. Slightly aggressive at idle, very quiet on the eway. The pipes sit real low, I've been able to manage just gotta watch where I go. Almost wish I would've bought just the x pipe & got chambered mufflers. Its a nice system for the price.
Car is still in pieces man sorry. Its a bolt on ls6 tho. Look up big hammer and some of his vids to hear what it sounds like. His is the best sounding ls1 I've ever heard.
Anyone done any dyno pulls from a y pipe setup to a true dual setup?
I'm talking a full length header setup that went to a y setup 3" single out the rear with a muffler to a true dual setup with turn downs or all the way out the rear to compare any hp or torque gains.
We want to tune our car that has a y pipe setup but are thinking on doing a true dual setup before the tune.
This is pretty much an identical Copy of the system I had on my old mustang. I love the borla sound and I haven't seen anybody run a system similar to this. Thought I share with you fellas. I wanted to go with xr1s but glad I didint lol. It's loud as it is with the stingers! I'll be posting some sound clips soon
I haven't been able to put up some sound clips since it's already dark when I get home from work. Wanna get some nice daylight vids with some driving clips as well. It sounds soooo good!!!
