In that GM HIGH-TECH PERFORMANCE Magazine i forgot to add the descreening of the MAF as a free mod. With descreening it, its proven in more than 1 source that it CAN be descreened for a performance gain in conjunction with other mods... so my question is... why not do it?.. (the guys whove been around AND are professionals do it, prove it has gains, and write professional articles on it for others to do and to know about.) They say NOTHING about messing up your A/F mix, And also why wait till u have 500hp... the whole point of this is so u CAN reach whatever it is u want to reach, wether it be 500hp or 400hp.. whatever ur goal point is it still gets u horsepower and is proven.

I wouldnt do it cause today i found a bunch of hard dried grass,lint and a dead spider on my maf screen, and im glad that didnt go into my engine or hit the maf sensors.

It always boggles my mind how people talk about finding all this debris and whatnot in what is supposed to be a CLOSED environment
Recently did the EGR and Port & Polish on the TB as well as the TB bypass,
made a diffrence to me especially on the highway 45-85 mph.
The Descreen is one i am not comfortable with so i left it alone
IMHO, i think some of the mods dont make any real differance by themselves but in combination will help compliment each other. Like any of the above by themselves are +1 hp each but when you add in a New Lid, Seal the airbox to the hood (ws6/SS) or get a Fast Toys Ram Air kit, upgrade the filter to K&N or your preferance get a better exhausts they help make the most out of the combination.
I will be going to longtubes and ORY this weekend so those things should make the most of this new expense and in turn this new expense should make the most of those little things.
