I noticed you were interested in duals at one point, have you considered the Bassani True Dual exhaust kit? It's a complete true dual exhaust kit for stock manifolds, and will work with headers will a little modification too.

The bassani true duals is a very refined system. At idle and low revs the volume is very subdued. But at WOT it roars with the best of them, but being true duals it sounds like the ls1 should sound...absolutely sweet.

And you only need 2.5" piping, up to well over 500 hp. It sounds like True duals fit all of your requirements you listed.

well I can get a TSP rumbler setup with the SLP tips I want for like $185 shipped. I think if money weren't an option I would do Bassani duals but i think they are quite expensive aren't they?

Yes, they are expensive, but imo worth every penny. It just depends on whether or not they fit your budget....
