Tyson:

You told me the TSP duals werent all that great and that you dont recommend them. Second, I was also wanting to know how much it would cost for just under the axle and dumped, and under the axle and out the back. We may not have had good enough communication during our conversation. Maybe you can clear it up in here.

How much for an under the axle, dumped set-up?

How much for an under the axle, out the back set-up?

How much for you to take TSP duals and run em under the axle and out the back?

Keep in mind, I will be supplying the headers.

Thank you for posting in here and I hope we can clear this up.

Tyson doesn't have an inhouse mandrel bender. He is setup to accomodate all custom chassis work. In order to make a custom mandrel bent exhaust system, he has to fabricate it using prefabricated mandrel bends. This kind of work takes alot of time. Like the post above, the price he quoted you isn't out of line of what typical custom built stuff costs. His cost included a custom PHR relocation setup so its comparable to speed inc's price.

I guarantee you'll get top notch quality out of his shop, he has done all of the chassis work to my car and will be fabricating a custom turbo setup for me. I won't go anywhere else

Justin, Our communication must have not been to clear. If you want to call me again that would be fine. Because I am not a sponsor of this board I can not continue to bring this issue up in here anymore. I will be glad to talk to you on the EFA board but not in here. I have had a lot going on this month with my new shop but I would be glad to help you out. Maybe you could stop by the new shop sometime and I could sit down with you and go over pricing
when you are ready

Tyson

Im so glad we could end this on a good note and not be immature and flamming each other. I appreciate that. At this point I just cant afford a price like that. I may end up just going with a Ypipe setup. Thanks for comming on and straightening everything out.

I did a ton of research. I made up a CD containing most of my research, including tons of pics, and gave it to the shop I have been dealing with. I talked to the shop this morning. I was quoted $1110 for the following:

• 3” stainless
• bought mandrel bends
• x-pipe
• band clamps @ header collectors
• flanged ahead of rear axle
• over-the-axle (both sides)
• Polished 4” round Magnaflows after axle
• Corsa knock-off tips
• All labor

I forgot to verify which x-pipe we would be using. I also have 3” Magnaflow Metallicats already. Those cost me $220. So the total for the catted dual system will be ~$1330. I spent a ton of time with the shop concerning this system. The guy who will be doing the work has not done a dual on an F-body before. The shop is getting a tig-welder, and I will probably wait until that is set up. All in all, I am pleased with how this is looking.
