Belt Squeaking @#*($& Well my car broke down and I had to tow it home, I decided to tow it with a pickup and used the tube below 
Now I guess that the tow rope rubbed and the pully started squeeking it looks like it is wobbling a little bit though I don't know if it wobbled before or if it is supposed to wobble. Help

It shouldn't wobble if it's tight ..maybe check the bolt first. If it is tight and is wobbling, could be you did some damage that can't be seen...hopefully you didn't hurt the crank and just got the pulley out of round...good excuse to get an UD then.

the crank pulley is actually 2 pieces of metal with a layer of vibration damper stuff in between, right?
my guess is that you goofed up the relationship between the center hub and the outer section with the belt grooves. now it wobbles.
i can't think of a better time for an underdrive pulley, if you're into that sort of thing.
i don't care for them.
