Exhaust gurus in here please!
Exhaust gurus in here please! im getting tired of my exhaust system and im thinking of changing it ,This is my current set-up: i have ft long tubes 3" true duals with 3" cats, going into an x pipe coming out of the x pipe ive got 2.5" going over the axle into 2 magnapac mufflers. Now would i lose any power if i went with a 3" y pipe to the axle (no cats) and put another y after the axle going into my magnapac mufflers??

As far as loosing power, if you are just bolt-on's don't sweat it. You aren't going to be loosing any power. Atleast not enough to really matter for the money.

wow you ahve the same set up as me, minus the LTs
and i went under the axel ... SEE SIGi am thinking of changing the MagnaPacks to flo-pro twisters..
remeber the x flows a little better than a y w/a c/b set up.

I couldnt go from dual 3 to a single 3. I would have to do a 3" y pipe with 4" outlet and run 4" pipe back to your y that you are talking about fter the axle.
I might consider 3.5' in place of the 4" but nothing smaller.

i'm gonna put in some input here that wasn't asked for, but it's more relevant than dumb and dumber quotes so i guess i'm okay:
go H-pipe and single chamber flow's. i'm dying to hear how it sounds with cats since this is the setup i wanna go eventually

yes ft is Flow tech. 220 and rusted up but working good lol.
I like having duals but i dont like having no clearence. my exhaust hangs really low and where i live i scrub alot.
can 4" pipe be bent to go up over the axle? is there room? i may be interested in this set-up.
