listen to the video posted around the 36 - 44 second area

I had the same setup for a bout a week. If you have stock manifolds and cats with the loud mouth it sounds awesome and decently loud. Add Headers and Off Road Y pipe and it sounds like the video (LOUD), around 2200-2400 rpm is pretty raspy.

Loudmouth - interior ( left click )

Loudmouth - outside in a tunnel ( left click ) the car with the loudmouth is the black trans am, its pretty much the loudest exhaust in the clip, camera car is a camaro with i think a hooker catback with long tubes and ORY.

examples of what a loudmouth sounds like with stock manifolds / y pipe and cats

I have the LM1 and it is loud and it is raspy. The only thing that sucks is right about 65-70 mph it is very loud inside the car. Not even worth having the radio on!

Thank you.....glad someone is tuned in

I had a LM1 and got it cut off. Running mufflerless now. Liked the LM, love it w/ou the muffler! Now I need headers and a OTY.

Then how does a GMMG sound with headers. Isnt it the same kind of set up? I got the SLP and Im in the thought process to get headers, but Ive always been in love with the GMMG. I would switch if I had to, to the GMMG, if it will sound better. I was worried about the SLP with new manifolds.

For our Iceland buddy.....Definition of Raspy - grating: unpleasantly harsh or grating in sound; "a gravelly voice"

then got a another 2000 trans am h/c, headers, ory, loudmouth 1,=way to loud, i mean i make shure i take my foot off the peddel when passing cops.
Im going to get the loudmouth 2 and switch them and see what the differnce is, then even mybe add cats, or the borlamouth.

I've got the LM bone stock pretty much and it sounds GREAT, it still is pretty loud in the car at around 60, but it humms real nice once I get to about 80! :-D I've had a lot of advice not to put headers on it, port my stock TB and get a LS6 intake, best bang for the buck, then maybe do a cam....

Man, that drone would kill me after awhile.

I own a 3.4L with a Loudmouth and a 2000 SS with a Loudmouth and they don't sound anything alike. The LM on the LS1 is much more mellow and quiet. I would highly recommend it because its pretty quiet from idle to 3k rpms, then you can make it scream like a beast. But even then it doesn't compare to the 3.4L, that car is so effing loud I almost can't stand to drive in it anymore.

i have pacesetter long tubes, slp catted y pipe with slp loudmouth and it sounds awesome, dont to loud driving on highway , idle sounds like a car with a big cam but no big cam haha. purs down the road but when you get on it, you'll know and everyone else will no but its good loud not truck flowmaster loud. i say go for it. if you dont like just put in a magnaflow or bullet muffler in its place. easy fix and for the price and quality it cant be beat.
