Go under. It's the only way you're going to get dual 3" pipe out the rear and you won't have to listen your pipe banging on the axle/underbody.

Ive got dual 3'' going over my axle it doesnt bang or make any noise. I do have the bmr panhard relocation kit. But my rear is lowere .75'' and i do still have room to drop another inch or more. Both pipes go over the axle on the passenger side.

I would/did go under the axle. I never hit a thing with the tail pipes. It was very easy and cost effective and you can go 3"

Listen to TheOutlaw...He does this stuff for a living...Do a search for "custom true duals". He just did a 3" system over the axle on both sides..You don't need the BMR relo panhard bar kit when you do it that way...There pix of it floating around here somewhere. I forget the guys screen name but its a red Camaro SS...Don't go under...

That car with the 3" must not be lowered to have good ground clearance. The passenger side after the X looks low low low. If you disagree, post a pic with a coke can under the car or something otherwise I just don't buy it.

If you want duals over the axle, go with 2.5" http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2305755/2

I saw the car in person at PAF and the photos don't do it justice...There's more ground clearance on that system than I've seen with 2.5" stuff...I'm not sure about the ride height, but I thought Tyson said it was lowered and inch or 1.5"...He's got 14 hours of labor in that thing to get it right and its probably the best duals over both sides of the axle that I've ever seen...PM the owner, Speedracer, or something like that, for better photos and maybe a clip...Those Borla mufflers are awesome...

I'm not trying to talk bad about his setup. I'm sure he's happy and it it flows/sounds awesome.
It's clear though, that in the pics, the exhaust is 3 inches lower than the underbody under the rear seat and IMO, that's too low on a lowered car.
It's a nice set up though and I'd like to see how they cleared the wiring harness above the axle.

What are typical prices for:

1) Under the axle and out the back.

2) Over the axle and out the back.

3) Dumps.

Speedracer has no problem with ground clearance. His car has coil over's all the way around the car and is lowered about a inch. The driver's side is as high up in the car with out being part of the floor board. The Pass side I was able to make as high as the stock location. Over the axle (drivers side)there is no interference with anything even with a moser 12 bolt being in the car. Over the axle (Pass side) is in the stock location. Speadracer had the option to run both pipes out the pass side but he wanted to use mufflers and not straight through bullet mufflers. Also he wanted his duels to resemble the factory cat-back. If you would like to see better pics of how the exhaust was layed out send me a pm with your email. Also some examples of my work can be found on Sweetthunder Chambered Muffler's web site. Also you can find example on Blaster's web page. Let know what you think..Thanks

Under is much cheaper. Over looks better. I am probably going to be going under because I just dont think going over is worth the extra money, unless you have lots of money, which I dont

Nope. j/k.

He did mine too.

See a resemblance in the Xpipe and layout.

Hey Tyson,

Can you send me some of those pics of speedracers car. Thanks man.
