Over or under the axle?
Want to finish the exhaust and get some tail pipes on to the car. Have my NJ inspection coming up and need to run out the back.
With going over the axle, I am worried about the tight drivers side, bang the axle or body and roasting the fuel pump wires
With going under the axle, I am worried about clearance, hitting stuff, and bottoming out
So which is the lesser of two evils?
Also, it worth mentioning that it's too late to run both pipes up over the passanger side as I already have invested in the side-by-side setup. Can't redo what's already done
May lower the car in a year or so. Springs have been already waiting a year to go on, so who knows if I'll ever do it.
Let me hear some good and bad stories.
Thanks,

^^ what he said. 2 1/2 inch pipe is plenty unless you got one hell of a car. both pipes go voer drivers side like a cat-back. if youre worried about banging BMR sells a panhard rod lecoation kit that allows you to run 2 3" pipe so that shoould solve any clearanc eissues you may be afraid of. also gonig over the axle gives you more ground clearance

I have mine under the axle. I have yet to bottom out on anything. As long as the pipe is higher than your differential housing, its not going to scrape/bottom out the pipes. Here is a picture of what I have.
True duals under the axle.

I would go under the axle. See the end of the True Duals Sticky for my pics. Its a lot cheaper, easier, and should flow a lot better. I have yet to have my axle drop down and slap the exhaust.

I went over the axle, but I'm not sure if its even possible to go over the drivers side. I've never seen that. There are pics of my exhaust on page 2 of my car domain site in my sig.

Got any pics of the clearance over the axle. I responded in your thread.
I dig your cutouts and always wanted some after my X pipe.

I say go over the axle. I have kooks headers and true duals over the axle all the way back to the tips. 3'' all the way and both pipes goes over on the passenger side. I do have the bmr upper panhard bar and relocation kit for the lower panhard bar which gives more room. But i can even lower my car another 1.5 inches and still have clearance. I woudlnt do it any other way.
