I sent Lou an email but never got a response. I would pick those over QTPs in a heartbeat, but it is hard to pass up this GP without so much as a word from LGM. Hopefully Lou will see this and chime in, so this product doesn't continue being vaporware.

I like my kooks long tubes. They fit pretty well. The y pipe needed some work before it fit correctly.

So how do you like the StainlessWorks? Good fitment?

I was looking at them for a 99 SS, the set I got for my 4V 04 is great, real solid with perfect fitment and make big power.

Nobody else tried StainlessWorks?

Not very many people have them on here for some reason, but the people who do tend to like them.

The fact that the y-pipes are stainless also is a big plus.

QTP HVMC all the way. Will make more power than any other header out there period. Better collector design, better stainless material and its polished. There Y Pipe when installed correctly will also out flow any other y pipe because they use the flowmaster merge collector. Mine when it with out any problems and clearance is great. I highly recommend them, all of the local guys around here run only QTP.

Very happy with my Kooks.

Picked up 19 RWHP and 13 RWTQ, clearance is excellent and no banging.

I got them 3 days after I placed my order, which just blew me away after experiences in the past with Grotyohanns and QTP's with long delays waiting for parts.

I dont have any experience with the kooks, I have QTP LT with their ORY w/dual cutouts. I have heard that their ORY alone is terrible clearance but with the dual cutouts i have maybe an inch... even less maybe so i havent been able to drive it for a few months... Not happy with their Y pipe, but their headers are very nice. I have 334 hp with just their header, y and custom 3" catback before a tune and with the cutouts closed.

I've had QTP headers & catted y-pipe on my car for 2 years.
The headers fit perfect but the Y-pipe is a long story.

I'm installing it on next Tuesday after the holiday. Will post pictures/videos (start up) during/after the installation. Stay tune! BTW, I've got my SW for 735 shipped. Reasonably priced compared to both kooks and QTPs. I haven't read hardly any negative complaints about these headers fitment and quality.

Very interested on how you like them! I spoke with the factory floor managers at both SW (knew Scott from prior dealings) and at Kooks and one of those two great header companies is going to modify for me their ORY and add dual cutouts like the QTP setup but I bet it won't matter which one I go with, they will not hang down low like the QTP. Kooks even offered to install them on my car as a test mule but I would have to drive/trailer the SS to Long Island from upstate (about 3-4hrs). They plan on adding ORY options for pre-installed cutouts in the near future. I wasn't sure I would like the cutouts but leaving the existing muffler on there would keep it stealthy and save me some $$, cept when I hit the electric butterflys, so the cutout idea is growing on me. Just tuff to give up dual exhaust on muscle V8's, just doesn't seem right for some reason, oh well if I really need to hear it I will have to fire up the Cobra.
