Question qtec....foot switch?

i have a 98 z28 camaro and i just got pacesetter headers to go with my corsa exhaust. now i want to get a electric cutout for my car but instead of just having a toggle switch i want to get a foot switch. has anyone done this? i looked the information up about the qtec toggle and its a double pole double throw momentary toggle switch. how the heck to i go about doing this...any help would be greatly appreciated. o and if anyone else has posted something like this, i still got dialup so it would have taken me hours to search/look for it. thanks...

Just use a toggle or rocker switch...no, I have not seen one done with a foot switch.

you would have to find a way to modify it to use some sort of pressure sensitive switch. Ive never heard of it being done.

maybe modify an old hi-beam foot switch from an older car. I'm not sure if the switch could be wired to open and close a cut-out though.

Making it run off a WOT switch would be handy but
the return function needs a little electronic cobbling.
Not terribly hard and something I've been meaning to
get around to. Figure I will leave the original McCord
switch in place too. Everything's normally-open and
paralleling another control no problem.

Don't know whether QTEC's wiring scheme is any
different.
