hey guys are the 5.3 TB gain me any power on an ls1 intake here the tb pic
i was thinking swap the stock ls1 to 5.3 TB what do ya'll thikn

Same TB basicly, 75mm with a smaller bleed hole in the blade and 98-99 style throttle shaft. The coolant line and vacuum hookups are slightly different too. Will still work as long as your car being a 98-99.

Get your LS1 intake ported for a substantial power gain and increased throttle response. By far one of the best bangs for the buck.

The actuator arm for the throttle blade is different.

I have a 5.3 TB on my LS1, I just had to modify the vacuum line. I did the TB bypass at the same time.

Slightly, the arc is the same, its just wider were the cable lays.
