Should I bother w/a cut out?
I logged delivered torque open and closed and saw no
effect (gain or loss) below about 5000RPM, a modest
torque increase from there to upshift. This was with
stock logs, gutted cats and Y. I have not repeated
since going to long tubes. I have the SLP CME which
is an OK catback. All I am taking out is muffler and
6 feet of plumbing backpressure. The McCord has been
on there for 2-3 years now without incident.
