According to your link,you already have a Magnaflow catabck...Magnaflows are good stuff man...I personally don't think you will gain anything more from a cutout other than volume...so if that interests you then yeah,go for it...other wise look like you have a pretty good exhaust setup as is...Nice TA BTW!

You will lose low end tq with a cut-out but pick up some hp up top. They are a nice edition to most catbacks. Some people like to think that they are defeating the purpose of the catback to begin with. All a matter of preference. It just makes a system more flexible for tuning purposes and track duty.

do it. you'll surely pick up a gain over the magnaflow. magnaflow flows okay, but it's nothing to brag about. gmmg and both loudmouths surely outflow it. i bet you'll pick up 3-5 rwhp over the muffler. oxidizer himself said it's restrictive over 400rwhp. granted you're not making that much, but it implies there is definitely restriction built into it to gain over.
to me, it's all about sound. i just ordered a manual stainless cutout during thunder racing's labor day sale to compliment my stainless corsa system. corsa's said to flow very well, probably just as well as a magnaflow. i've heard reports of a measly 3hp gained with an open cutout...but it's about the fun factor more than power. do the cutout for when you wanna be "that guy", the gain is a moot point IMO, though it definitely helps

My car has a Bassani catback with a big *** muffler. I got the big muffler hoping that the car would be quiet but now without cats and with LT's, cam and heads, it's still pretty loud. If I could do it again I'd stick with the stock catback and install an electronic cutout.
Heck I may install one anyway, the other day when I had it on the dyno it really sounded like the exhaust was fighting to get out. Crazy high pitched rasp.

You will love the cutout. Electric are expensive and i would not recommend QTP's.
I forger the name of tyhe company, but theirs comes with a 4 year warranty and when the cutout is fully opened or closed, the motor shuts off.

The Magnaflow catback did make more rwtq for sure though
