Target time for production is christmas, with units shipping by sometime January.

It will be an X pipe setup that will fit the Kooks/QTPs and an optional pipe to fit Hookers, Jet Hots, and Pace setters.

This is a no expense spared setup. No shortcuts have been taken and the most ingenious engineering has been used for the most clearance and best fitment.

I will keep you guys updated as I know more. We are currently knocking out the last of our C5/C6 parts now, and this system is next in line.

Put me up on a system that connects with the QTP.

tsp is 400...how much cheaper do you need it?
TSP's Dual set-up needs custom work done to it doesnt it, for it to fit right? For just about $1100 you can get a custom true dual set made for your specific car.

Stainless gets my vote, the less I have to worry about something else on my car rusting, the better.

a "good catback"= 500-800

ory or catted y pipe =150-350

a total from anywhere from 650-1050.

so 1100 for stainless...isn't to bad, I won't be buying it though. If it wasn't stainless and quite a bit cheaper...I'd jump on it right away, I don't need stainless.

I would think for 1100...it should come with cats..but thats just me, I don't own a bussiness and I don't know how much it costs to manufacture stuff like this, I know there is a lot of overhead.

Well for my vote 2.5 inch from the headers all the way out. 3" is a close fit over and out. Very close. Bullets for space saving, stainless of course ( I can have it done locally cheap in steel). $1100 is about right for just the stainless all bent and pre-fit but would not cover the cost of the cats. This makes it to expensive in my book. But if you think about it and were building an exaust form scratch to go on your car its not that bad a price. Catted y's are around 500 and catbacks are around 450-700 for stainless.

For fitment purposes 2.5" over and out is the best option. You could move the upper phb but then your adding more money to the cost of your exaust.

I looked into doing this. You mock it all up in PVC then have it made. Its not cheap. If you can come up with a stainless kit for around $800 I'd be seriously interested and impressed.

I'd love ot get my hands on a good 3 inch full dual out the back system. I ahve the panhard bar support out so that's not really a concern of mine, I'd just want to have it made so that I coudl toss a set of cats in and out of it for inspection time that's all. As for mufflers, not sure what I'd need to quiet down a 400+ ci 12 to 1 compression motor with a big set of heads/cam on it...if it's even possible LOL. Not sure what would fit where, probably have to be a round muffler to put in the transam cutout, a stainless one, fartcan ricer style.. because I don't see there being enough room under the car anywhere to put them and have the pipes go over the axles. The 2 3 icnh pipes would most likly have to run down the passengers side, like stated on the first page.

is a dual exhaust thats ran out the back like this thread is talking about alot quieter than say a system thats dumped with single chambered flowmaster mufflers and with tips of the mufflers angled away from the road(not straight down)? I know this would be cheaper than a over the axle job. I would be running cats so take that into consideration on noise level.

I dunno how much more quiet it would be if you were to use the same mufflers and just run the system out the back but it would cut down on the drone/vibrations you would hear/feel with ti dumped under the car. Plus if your not running any cats you wouldnt have to deal with the smell of raw fuel exiting and coming right up to your windows, which is a definate plus.

Yep, thats where I'd use 2.5 instead. I've taken a serious look at it and was going to have it built until I peiced it all out and came up with $1100. You can do 3" but its real tight there. The exaust guy I was with said he wouldnt use 3 if I wanted him to

The guy next door to me has a 65 chevyII with dual exuast. It just sounds so mean, I'm so jealous. I think my car is faster than his even with the 7 cylinders but his sounds real nice. Big lopy cam mean idle. My SLP d/d is like a bird chirping next to his setup.

The way to do it in 3" is with oval tubing which is like $50 for a 36" piece and its not stainless. You can go oval to round and back again. "All tubes are made from Aluminum Killed Draw Quality (AKDQ) steel. This material is very resistant to cracking and splitting."

I'm running a LM, only thing getting much louder then that is unhooking all of it at the headers LOL.

Iwith the tire size I run in teh rear, the ground clearance isn't as much a problem.. I've gotten a couple quotes that were in the 1100 dollar range, but I figure if I'm gonna do it I'll spend the extra $ and go stainless, and put some 3 bolt flanges on the thign in the back so I can take the over the axle portion off easy, and 3 bolt flange it to the headers, and a set of small cat's for emmissions inspection, and test pipes for the other 11 months and 29 days LOL.

I would choose the 2.5" It would be alot easier to fit and more universal cause everyones car is a little different plus more selection of tips. If a sponsor would produce this setup I would be all over it as well as most people.
