If you go 90mm rmemeber you need a new TB to go with that.
not speaking fomr experience but form what I read that people have has trouble with the FAST 90mm throttle bodys, maybe they have fixed the problem, I cant recall what it was though.
There are other 90mm throttle bodies that should bolt onto the Fast 90mm Intake, do a search to see what you can find on that.
I have a Fast 78 intake, and very happy with it, no problems. Has ports for direct port nitrous, and can be dissasembled for porting. Unlikre metal intakes it don't take heat from the heads to heat up the air, hot air is a bad thing.
My vote would be a Fast intake, wehather you go 78 or 90 its up to you, at the time of purchasing I coludn't buy the throttle body too, so settled for the 78.

Nick Williams or PTM 90mm TB is what you want with the FAST 90, check out TSP.
You'll see most of the gains in the higher rpms. So you really need to be using it on a motor that revs higher than stock, that also means it will work best on a cammed motor. Below 5000rpm the FAST 90 performs similar or slightly better than a LS6 intake, although according to Tony @ AFR a ported FAST can make much more difference. Above 5000rpm is where it really shines and if you have a cam making PEAK power at around 6400rpm then its a worthwhile investment.

i have read that there isnt much to gain over a ls6 intake on a stock motor, but if your going bigger cubes or stroker you will see better gains, also with an "agressive" heads cam setup. most people dont justify the expense for the minimal gains of going f.a.s.t. 90/90. i believe there was a dyno comparison between the ls6 and f.a.s.t. a month or two ago in the dyno section. plus i believe if your ever going to upgrade to a ls2, it will transfer over(90mm). for the money ($1300 with new TB), id just get a ls6 intake, underdrive pully and port your own TB, you will be just as happy. you will even have left over $$ for a cut-out.

IMO either you need an LS6 intake, or if that dosent give you enough flow you should step it up to a sheet metal set up, its not that much more (if not the same price) as a FAST. only good thing about the FAST is that it has a sacrafical pannel if you are spraying nitrous and have a backfire you only have to remove the intake completely and replace the bottom. IMO go big (sheet metal) or go home. with a stall you do not need to worry about "bottom end" just top end

its not a daily driver, its a street strip car, take it to the track on the weekends. as to the 3500 stall i know nothing under 3500 means nothing.
was looking at the fast intake for the direct port feature w/ the cutout.
looking at afr 225 heads, just need to find the cam and i think ill be pretty set on everything.

you should honestly start looking at a LQ4 block.. the 4.00 bore allows you to run L92 heads and L92 intake (has a 90mm TB apparently) go look in LS2-7 tech for info on it.. save you money over AFRs and a FAST and you would have more hp
