Should my (stock) y pipe hang this low?
2001 Trans Am ws6
Drivers side y pipe, where it flattens out near front wheel, looks like it hangs too low to me. It extends down further than everything around it, and where it passes the chasie, the chasie looks as though it is molded to allow a close fit, but there is a 2 inch gap between chasie and top of pipe. Is this ment to be like this?
Thanks for your input.

Thanks for the replys guys
I will post a pic tomorro.
It just looks strange, but it is reassuring to know that it seems to be the norm.
I wouldnt normally worry, as it works fine, but have a new muffler to install and wondered if it was worth changing it at the same time.
