SLP underdrive pulley

have a buddy selling one, but i dont know if it is worth the $$ or not. not lookin for big gains, just wanna get a few small things done. already have longtubes and ls6 intake. Search is down, so i thought i would post this up. thanx for the help.

it should give you 8-10hp. Make sure you get a new crank bolt, and it will take a smaller belt.

LS1howto.com's camswap section has a writeup for the pulley change. You will need a longer bolt or a threaded rod/bolt/washer to get the pulley started back on so you don't strip the crank.

Sometimes. Mine came off without a hitch using a puller rented front vatozone, but some people have problems. Some people have to call in the national guard and cast a spell on their crank bolts before they come out.

Putting the pulley in the oven at about 250-300* helps with install as well.

thanx for the tips...i may just do that. this is just for my driver....but im sticking a turbo'd LSX into my 67 firebird, so this is all just practice
