Default hooker muffler areochamber sound?

hows does this muffler sound with stock manifolds?....is this the deepest muffler out there...i hear flowmaster sounds good but dont flow as good

Asking "What is the deepest sounding muffler out there" is going to not get you very far. There is too far a variety of mufflers and unsubstantiated opinions out there to get a definite answer. If you want a good answer call up an exhaust shop/LS1tech vendor and ask them the question as that would be the closest "expert" out there with an experience with many different mufflers and set ups.

i've had both... the Magnaflow is the overall louder system. As far as deep? I dunno man, I haven't really heard a traditional catback on the LS1 that I would consider DEEP. You'd have to look into true duals for that... IMO anyway.

whos got the best deal on a magnaflow.....i see summit sells the polished one for 125 and the natural for 95 bucks....

if you want a deeper sound then leave the cats in place. removing the cats will open the exhaust up more and free up some hp but if you want a deeper tone you need the cats in place.

i think you have it backwards.
if you remove the cats the sound will definatly get louder and deeper.

exactly, it's gonna be 10x louder without cats, and deeper...

(I still think you need duals for the LS1 to sound DEEP though)

i cammed LS1 with long tubes and a hooker exhaust sounds deep, trust me

sounds cool.....im going with the polished magnaflow.....sure hope they muff shop can bump the 2.5 outlets to fit my monster 3 inch corsa tailspipes.....thanks for all the info....

i have the hooker its fairly quiet with longtubes and ory but hit the gas and I had many people says its loud. and the interior noise is pretty quiet.

the hooker stays quiet till you hit it the she screams haha
