LG's is pretty big from what I understand. The ID of the regular sized manifolds is around 85mm. An 85mm MAF uses a coupler to attach to it instead of slipping inside like the stocker.

yeah i have the same problem. i am building a 455 ci ls1 and i have the 90/90 setup and am wondering what to do for the intake. i wish i could still get the 85mm intake. i was looking at the lg on and it says that the id on the intake is 3.5 inches. would that equate to 85mm or is there another company out there that makes a 85mm or equal or is my best bet to buy the lg intake. thanks for the help

I would just use the one you have now, and buy a coupler for it. Stock style lid, coupler, 85mm z06/truck (descreened) MAF, another coupler, into 90mm TB.

Hightempsilicone.com and Intakehoses.com have some cool stuff.

i just measured the inside diameter of my whisper lid and it was 90.5mm,then i measured the stock lid and it was like 89mm almost 90..So if you go speed density setup with a fast 90/90 combo then any lid should work just fine as the inside diameter will be the same size as your throttle body and manifold.
