i wasn't trying to be a douche hammertime. my post was completely void of sarcasm, just my two cents. for some strange reason, i felt that you felt offended in your response to my response. if you were offended, i didn't mean anything by it. if you weren't, disregard this post. just for some reason i get a weird feeling you took it the wrong way.

lol - that's the downside to these forums, you can never tell what the sentiment is behind the post. No offense taken here. Just quoted the responses for reference 'cause I think we were in agreement

96'-98's were Aluminum as well. I run a 96' Aluminum Teksid block in mine.

Just a quick email to find out some more info on the multi valve guru.. Short story We run a door slammer (Promod) here in Sydney Australia & have placed an order in January for a one off custom set of 32 valve ARAO all billet Ford heads (Cleveland style) to suit our alloy Fontana. What we ordered were BILLET solids “no water” with custom porting to suit our Hogan’s blower sheet metal intake.. etc etc.. we also ordered all Manley valve train in Titanium etc etc... We spoke with Manley today and they have NO order from Arao…This order had an agreed lead-time of 16-20 weeks MFG. Now we are sitting in November and since the order is paid in FULL to Russ we’re a little concerned!!! , we were told that if we wire funds in FULL our order then gets expedited. We are very patient with him, we know this is a unique product and sometimes things happen and orders get delayed. My question is... has anyone here personally visited the shop and what’s your impression? Any help is really really appreciated.

Cheers, Kev
Sydney Australia.

damn guys, I didnt post this to start a flame war. I sure as hell dont want my car to be a blue oval and would never trade her in on one. I was just saying I liked the sound or them and to get close but my own ls1 style sound would be nice over this quiet *** raspy y pipe set up I have now. I am starting over I threw the cat back on my sixer and am thinking of going true duals. I just hadnt really heard any that I was overly trilled about. I liked the 35th car's sound on like page three with the kid in it. Im not sure on which way to go for performance and sound I want the best of both more so leaning toward performance. H X i dont know the difference Im looking into them but thats why I posted this just to get input on the sound they make obviously a lot of guys like em, doesnt mean we all want to trade our cars in for one. If I was rich yea Id pry own one just cuz I could but Im not and I plan on having the T/A for a long time. Now to a technical question how much do bullet style mufflers actually help muffle? It doesnt seem like much ls1 sounds helps but usually there are guys with different set ups on ther not exactly what i want to hear, im not cammed or "headed" so sometimes cars on their dont do me justice....I dunno guess Ill have to just keep buying until I get the car to how I want.....I cant believe this thread blew up like it did lol Ive never started one this long, just strikes me in a funny way. Anyway happy driving people!!!

Add a twin turbo kit exhaling through open downpipes. Here's a soundclip.

Word!!!

Most exhaust on mustangs sound the same!!! The only good sounding mustang i've ever heard is my friends 04 gt he has slp headers catted h pipe and slp loudmouth. Also the prochargers whine doesn't sound bad
but i do personally believe that lt1's sound better than the ls1, but at the same note nothing sounds better than a cammed BBC!!!!

I dont understand. The 2v and 4v motors are 4.6's.

Nope pre 03 Cobra's and Mach 1's don't. And yes aluminium may have a different harmonic resonance, but that's not the whole picutre. Most BMW, Mercedes, Jagaur, Aston Martin, Ferrari, Lambo engines are all aluminium. And on the whole they all sound great.

Plus does a LQ9 Chevy engine really sound massivly different to a LSx based block?
