take it easy on the 8.90s thing, maybe he doesnt have money...like me....my car runs 8.7's which aint much better, but that does not mean that i dont know **** about my car...I mean theres NO WAY it would be 50hp ....but still

What it dont add a hundred HP????? Thats what I thought
FYI dont take the above statement seriously
I just got my LT's on a few weeks ago and It feels like a 10-20 HP gain with just bolten them up and hopefully Ill see once I get it tuned in december. But it really seems to help the higher in the RPM's you get

Ok now, back to topic.
__________
-LT's will net a great power difference for the entire powerband. You will see around 18-22 hp, 20-30 Tq.
-Mids can get respectable gains too, around 14-18 hp, 20 Tq.
The difference is, after around 4000RPMS, their help decreases. Still great headers though, get atleast 1 5/8".
Shorties - JUNK. Less hp and tq then both. Youre LS1 basically already has shorties, so these should not be considered an option.
All these numbers are averages from the data I have collected over several months, and these are usually without a tune.

You can stop being a doush now. Thanks.

I guess it depends on what is the most restriction in your system.
I put on the fast intake, ported TB and gained a little, but when I then changed to LT's then I probably gained 25RWHP. But if the rest as stock and I changed to LT's I may have only gained 15-20. It all depends on what you have to start with.
