swappable parts? LT1 to LS1

Will the a/c compressor, driveshaft and rear end swap form an lt1 v8 to an ls1 v8 car? I know I will loose traction control but what about abs? Are the connectors the same?

Not alot. The LT1 is more like the SBC. I think that you will find everything is different under the hood.

the rear end and drive shaft will for sure. don't know about the a/c compressor.should be able to retain abs.

A motor swap like that is futile with the current f-body prices. Hell if you can handle a $275 for 4 years you can get a sweet LS1 car.

I own both an LT1 and LS1 f body and all the engine stuff is different.

Sure it "can" be done, but anyone who knows really wouldn't bother.

Thanks for the help but who said I was doing a swap? I own two ls1's but my a/c compressor recently went out and my friend has a broke down lt1 in his back yard with a perfectly good compressor. To bad it won't fit. Thanks for the other info though, guess I'll be loosing TCS
