I have the other brand PCV Can and it has a drain but I always take it off to drain. It would be a mess if I did not.

I've got a catch can mounted in the same place. I just put a shot glass underneath. Drains right into it.

It catches oil from the pcv system , the line from the pcv tube goes into the catchcan . Then run a hose from the catchcan back to the intake manifold. Without one under WOT you could be getting oil inside your intake manifold CAUSING PRE DETONATION .

Is the bracket attached, or can I flip it and put it on the driver's side the same way?

The bracket slides on and off so you can turn it anyway you want .

I appreciate ZoomZ posting info as we go along here as I am still out of town till Monday. I also appreciate the "tech" info other folks are giving for those that are asking how this works. Great community as we all know.

I am working on an install sheet and will most likely put in about 2 feet of 3/8" hose and a brass barbed 3/8" connector for folks to help with the install. For the 2004 and up C5, C6 and GTO applications I will include a 2 brass barbed 3/8" connectors since there is no PCV valve.

Thanks again and we are working on a lot of colors and working on quotes now.

Yea it looks as though you copied AMW! But your doesn't have the rings cut on the inside to keep the oil from crawling back up the walls.

I am going ot be mounting mine to the the top side bolt in on the passenger side of the head on my T/A. I will have no clearence issues, just need to go get the dam tubing. It is going to look great in there.

I dont see you having so much oil in the catch can that it can climb back up and into the return line. Especially with how deep it is. It would take a lot to fill it up.
