ls1 borla to lt1 ? a friend of mine has a '96 firebird, he found a good deal on a ls1 borla catback,,but the question is .. can he use the ls1 catback on his lt1 car ??
will the sound be ok ?

dont do it.. one of my buddies had a LT1 and then wanted my slp loudmouth and i sold it to them and it sounds like a straight up ricer... i didnt think it would do that but when u get on it it sounds like ****...

k lets set it straight real quick, the LS1 borla will work just fine with the 95dual cat-97 LT1's, it is only the 93-early 95 lt`'s that need the extension piece of it because of the different design of the cat set up, the adapter kit that slp sells is just an extra hanger that is not needed for the LM to adapt to the later model LT1's, it will work fine and sound great, same muffler
