Default Bullets off the headers

I know there are some guys here that are running bullets right off the headers, but I am curious if I am going to gain/lose anything from dumping my X-pipe duals to go this route? Are there any pros/cons to doing this? Lastly, is there anything more that needs to be done tunning wise when you go this route? Thanks for the help, Mike.

Just go with duals and a crossover (X or H pipe).

All cars will perform better with a proper tune, especially after a big modifications like headers.

Like I said in the post, I already have duals w/ an X pipe. The car has been tunned already, but I was unsure if it would need to be retunned if I went this route. I'm looking for someone that's done this already so I can get some insight from experiance. Thanks for the responses guys.

All the testing i have done (as in not read or heard of, actually done) shows that you WILL gain power going from an X or H to bullets off the headers. You will lose some low end SOTP feeling but if your racing how often are you in the low rpm's?
Right now i'm running HUGE Magnaflows off my headers.

Thanks for the reply SUX2BU. Do you by chance have a pic of your setup. Right now I have sweet-thunders and was tossing around the idea of putting those of the headers. Did you have to do any other tunning when you went this route? Mike
