Well I might try cats, but I don't think the magnapacks are what I am looking for soundwise. Do you get that sound with your Flows since you are run out the back?

I have the exact same issue.. Sounds like a 78 Ford truck with a Glass pack on part throttle accelleration. Sounds like ****! Other than that its great. Getting ready to yank the Bullett and put in a 1 chamber Flow I think.

If its an auto car which im sure it is...remove torque management and the Blatt will go away.

cut it right before or under the axle so it dumps rearward and see what that does for you

^I hope your right, I should be getting one sooner or later
Really dont think switching any parts/pipes would make a diff. My car sounds awesome when standing behind it/riding next to it. I can only hear it when im in the car driving

Yeah, Those sweet thunders dont do much in the way of muffling. Get a muffler with more baffling.

The timing gets retarded to save parts in the trans etc...once its deleted and the line pressure firmed up some it will be fine and no more fart like you describe...

That happens at the top of the RPM band, not at 3500 RPM's. I guarantee it's not the TM. It only happened after running out the back.

Would moving the mufflers to the very end of the system eliminate that I wonder? I think I might have room to do that. Any thoughts on this idea?

TM is there all the time!

UNtil you delete it you will hear it. Simple. Its actually heard more under medium acceleration then WOT.

Like I stated before, it didn't do it before it was run out the back. When I had the exhaust run out the back, this was the first thing I noticed. Before, it sounded awesome in every way....just a little loud. I have been told by some 6-speed guys that they have a similar sound as well and they certainly don't have TM. So once again, TM is not the culprit.

It can't be the muffler/s place before or after the axle because mine is after the axle and the tail pipes don't even extend that much more after the muffler.

You know what I noticed also? When I turned on either my A/C or my heater while driving WOT or part throttle the BLAAATTT almost disappear, kinda mellows out.

I know not to use Sweet Thunders dumped if you don't want interior noise. They create LOTS of interior noise......but man they sound sweet. One of the best sounding cars I ever hope to hear. You're probably pretty close with the Spiral Flows. Also consider Magnaflow 4X9's and Borla XR1's.

Im bringing this thread back to life because I just got a bolt on dyno tune and most of the BLATTT sound was eliminated! Its still there but much more quiet in just about every gear, in every RPM. 5th gear in a low RPM is the most noticable. I highly recommend a bolt on tune if your not going to mod further, my car drives just like stock now.
