I am still new to LS1's and was wondering if someone could attribute to a full-list of bolt-ons. Hopefully possibly get this thread stickied as I'm sure it would help other Newcommers.

UnderDrive Pulley
Electric water pump
Plugs (many don't consider this a mod)
Wires (many don't consider a mod)
msd coil packs (many don't consider a mod)
So if you think gears is a bolt on, does a clutch/stall count as bolt on??

FRA is not a bolt on nor TB bypass. Both are free mods along w/ Port and polish TB.
You don't really need MAF for a car that only pushing <500whp. Myself don't consider plugs and wires as bolt ons.
IMO, these are bolt ons:
Intake (lid, filter, intake manifold, CAI, Bigger MAF, Ported/Polished TB (ie: Shaner, New ERA, etc.)
Suspension mods (STB, LCAs, TA, springs/shocks, sway bars, bushings, etc.)
Exhaust (headers, catback/TDs)
Engine (pulley/s, unbolt-ons--!EGR, !AIR)
Tune (HPTuners, LS1edit, Diablosport, HPP3)
Drivetrain (gears, stall, tranny cooler, transgo shifkit, driveshaft, short shifter, clutch)
And yes, this kinda topic has a sticky already.

i hate it when people consider gears and stalls bolt-ons. they're not bolt-ons. they're internals. for example, last time i checked, stalls were inside a transmission. that means you have to pull the tranny and crack it open to change the stall. gears go by the same principle. just because they're not inside the engine DOES NOT mean they are not internals!!!!!!!!
this is a better list:
lid
cat-back/true duals
throttle body
intake manifold
cai
shifters
headers
mid-pipes (X,Y,H)
suspension
e-waterpump
e-cutout
pullies
plugs
wires
maf
TB bypass
ignition
rear-end
nitrous is also forced induction, not a bolt on IMO. in no way should a tune be considered a bolt-on either. it's computer work. you're not bolting anything onto your car.

But I do not consider N20 a bolt on. That's a power adder IMO.

To me, a "bolt on car" could be intake (lid, whatever), full exhaust, shifter, tuning... and suspension and all that stuff. heads, cam, nitrous, turbo, SC, I don't consider bolt ons. Just my .02, if I run someone and they tell me they have bolt ons, I just figure intake/exhaust.
