i filled the holes with weld then ported them back down and drilled out smaller holes... didnt get to test it this way yet over my previous port,(i upgraded to fast 90/nw90 heads cam etc etc so i have no way to test it now) if it made more of a difference then before id be suprised. the first one i did, was very noticible.

Don't fill in the holes. That's how your IAC breathes. Obstructing the holes may cause idle issues. I say 'may' because I'll probably get 5 replies from people saying they didn't have an issue. Personally, I'd rather not have them filled in.

I don't know how valid my gains are since I'm comparing horsepower numbers from two different dyno jets.
Bone stock at TT Performance was 294.51 RWHP, 314.05 TQ, 12:1 a/f
With Thunder Racing's ported throttle body at Harris Speed Works was 297.7 Max HP, 345.9 ft-lbs, 13.1 a/f
The Harris Speed Works dyno graph shows much higher torque than the TT Performance dyno, but the horsepower numbers and air/fuel ratio should be somewhat comparable.
The whole thread is here:
'02 A4 Z28 w/PTB dynoes@298...after SLP lid, dynoes@303...after SSRA2, dynoes@318!
