Just inacse you wondered what the Corsa cat back sounded like
http://videos.solent-renegades.co.uk...asp?videoid=41

Below is the same cora catback but with LT's fitted.... enjoy...
Corsa Catback Dynatech LT's no Cats, 1st gear drive past
http://videos.solent-renegades.co.uk...asp?videoid=43

Corsa Catback Dynatech LT's no Cats, 2nd gear drive past
http://videos.solent-renegades.co.uk...asp?videoid=44

Does tend to sound a bit loud when flooring it at 2000rpm, my freind says it sounds like a gatling gun.

Sound fron under the hood with a short burst to 40mph.
http://videos.solent-renegades.co.uk...asp?videoid=81

Sound from inside the car
http://videos.solent-renegades.co.uk...asp?videoid=45
Sponge bob is hanging in there....

http://videos.solent-renegades.co.uk...asp?videoid=46
The description on the page explains it.

Hope this helps you choose your system.
These were all on the Trans-Am LS1, but I guess the cat back system would be simular for yours.

I think the cam plays a big part in the sound. I want a deep lumpy idle and I think a cam will help me out, at the moment I'm on a stock cam. Think this may also apply to the original poster.

I completely agree with you on the Borla exhaust. Loud, but not very deep/agressive.

If you want to purchase a catback that you can bolt on, I would recommend the Magnaflow. Its cheap, and has a very nice deep rumble, or the Corsa if you want to spend quite a bit more. Corsa sounds great too, but it starts to sound terrible with LTs and no cats. GMMG is probably one of the best sounding catbacks that you can bolt on, but also one of the most expensive.

If you want to do a custom exhaust, either catback style or true duals, I would recommend Classic Chambereds, Borla XR-1s, or Magnaflow bullet style mufflers. They all offer very deep and agressive exhaust tones. Check the link in my sig for more info, dyno, and vids of the Classic Chambereds.

If you want any specific pricing, just shoot me a PM or email.

Have you tried LS1 Sounds? Many sounds of the LS1 engine with different combinations of systems and cams.

My 4" Mufflex setup was really deep! I wishI still had it actually. I am just tired of the freaking true dual setup.
