Painted and Installed LS6 intake. Definite HP increase.
Thanks for all the comments fellas. If there is one thing I've learned over the years, and especially while painting and installing this intake, it is to BE PATIENT! Trying to rush or force the issue will only lead to mistakes. I sanded this thing for DAYS, chipping away at it when I had free time. Same thing for painting. When I was doing the primer, paint and clear coat I followed the instructions on the rattle can to the letter. I painted it on my balcony of my apartment. I grabbed the timer off the stove, you know, those 60 minute baking timers. Set it for 15 minutes and that when I sprayed on the next coat. If it said wait 25-30 minutes, set the timer for 27 min. I honestly wasn't sure I could pull it off, but with the info I found on LS1tech I did.

I used Duplicolor Truck, Van and SUV and the color was just plain "Silver". There is a picture of the products I used in the rattle cans on the write up. 4 Dupli-color cans total. Adhesion Promoter, High Build Primer, the Silver Paint and Acrylic Lacquer Gloss.
