GMHTP just did a test on lids and SLP was the highest rated for quality. I just got mine delivered today from Summit. My first mod to my car .

As far as the hood rubbing issue on the standard Z28 hood, is anyone's SLP lid rubbing with the stock bellows or are all these rubbing issues caused by the smooth bellows?

How much can you expect to gain from the SLP lid?

My SLP fits fine. Do a search on the GMHTP website. They did a thurough (sp?) lid comparison. SLP was the better fitting one. Mine also rubs on my hood a touch. I just filled a little off my FG hood.

I have a TSP lid and the fitment isnt that great. I had to get some think weather stripping to get it to be airtight. My old SLP lid fit nicey but it rubbed pretty bad on my hood

SLP all the way. Ive never had any fitment problems and install is very easy. I was somewhat intoxicated when I installed mine and I still didnt encounter any problems.

The slp blackwing lid is the only good quality lid out there, the rest are OK, but none could ever be an OEM part, like the blackwing was.
