Is Ls6 possibly better than Fast 90/90
Ive heard from more than one person people seeing losses in power with the fast setups over ls6 intakes. I was wondering if this is possibly true?
I will admit though, most of the very high cam only numbers have the fast 90/90.

Screw it. Run the stocker. It is all hype really.
I will also have to agree with Ryan. I got my FAST after Heads and Cam and it made a world of difference. I was probably standing to gain quite a bit with the LS6 anyway though, but with my cam choices I figured that I will need to take it up a notch.

I have an 02 Z06 with ms3 cam , kooks longtubes and it made 435rwhp 395 rwtq.
With a vengenace ported fast 90mm and ls2 tb I pick up 33 rwhp and 21 rwtq for a total of 465 rwhp and 416 rwtq on STOCK heads still.

Not to mention that there are H/C cars with ported 90/90's that have gained 25+ rwhp.

but for a non h/c application the LS6 obviously is the smarter choice as a 90/90 may be "over doing it" (not saying you won't pick up any numbers)
the h/c application can utilize the 90/90 combo more effeciently as a LS6 would be considered a slight restriction... the ported 90/90 will net even more gains

Nobody with an IQ above 20.
If you/anyone plans on a cam, just skip over getting the LS6 or FAST 78 and go straight for the 90. It won't cost any HP over a LS6 on a stock intenral LS1 but will be ready to make a serious gain after a cam.

i too have seen several people who are less than satisfied and are going back to LS6 intakes. IMO, LS6 is fine... untill you need a single plane carbed intake or a sheet metal. go big or go home
