Default Sheet Metal Intake?

Just out of curiosity does anyone know of a company or sponser that sells the Victor Jr. intake manifold with a sheet metal elbow and TB adaptor ready to go into the F-Bodys? Also do you think it would net results worth puttting it on over an ls6 or fast?

Ok well not a whole lot of response here so does anyone know of a company that makes or can make me the "elbow" needed to make the Victor Jr. intake work with a throttle body? i know when we had our f-body shoot-out Dave (Nitro Dave) had one on his Hugger orange car just never got around to asking where i could pick one up... it would be cool if it could have a nitrous nozzle input on it just for thought ....

I've seen a few posts on these... and I really have to wonder, how much does that effect the fuel efficiency of the LSx?

I dont think this is a setup you need unless your pushin MAJOR horses. This would probably choke a mostly stock motor on the bottom end. I couldnt see it doing much for you on the top either since it would outflow the heads.

True unless you have a cam and heads to support it.

the "bottom end" argument is stupid. a 4400 stall eliminates it completely

yeah you should get a carbed intake if you have a stalled auto even with just a cam IMO

im glad im getting some input on this... the main reason i was looking at this set up though is for nitrous, i would just think that it would flow alot better down low and give more torque bc of the available air that would be there.... but i do see the point if you dont have the heads whats the point.... i will be running the MS4 on the 241 casting ls1's with full bolt on's and a 150NX shot through an M6.... is there even a point for me to go with this set up or is my more air more torque theory way off?

I do not beleive so, others may disagree. An LS6 intake will do the job just fine IMO. Just remember, more is not always better. An intake like this would not keep up your intake velocity either. Its kinda like the difference between drinking a coke through one straw, or two straws.

I'm assuming i wont have any issues with N20 and the FAST will I?

FAST is good, 90/90 may even be too much. I cant argue that one too much, as I dont have alot of experience with them, but I think the smaller FAST may work better still. Honestly, for that setup I think the LS6 will not give you any trouble. Again, IMO.

I have a T2 cam and an LS6 intake with a little gas on it. No problems, and I dont think the FAST would do me any good.

i was condidering both the victor jr. and the fast 90/90 setup but through research and talkin to some buddy's of mine that build motors, on a stock cube motor the power gains dont justify the cost, those intakes are really meant for large cube motors
