The lid is a proven mod. FRA has nothing to do with the lid. Those were my first 2 mods. <img src="images/icons/smile.gif" border="0">

Yep, what Ragtop said! FRA will get more cool air coming in, but you'll still have to enter the stock lid. Do both, and you'll love it. <img src="images/icons/smile.gif" border="0">

My first mod was the Direct-Flo lid, I noticed a difference right away. The following weeek I did the FRA, and I noticed even more of a gain. Do both, you won't regret it!

Definitely do a lid. It’s one of those basically trouble free mods that has no downside. Only proven gains!

Do Both! the lid and FRA! that's the combo i have on my WS.6. oh and i removed the rain baffle <img src="images/icons/wink.gif" border="0">

Guys,
If I do the Free Ram Air, what good is the Lid??
It looks like all it will do is smooth out the airflow slightly?!

I agree, do the FRA & lid. I did both and then went FTRA. Very good mods...just check your air filter more often.
