Default Fast 78 vs LS6

I might have a chance to get a FAST 78mm manifold for around the same price of a used LS6.

I'm stock aside from exhaust and CAI. I have a ported throttle body sitting here as well.

I know the potential of the LS6 intake...but if you could get either intake for around the same price(give or take 40 bucks) what would you get and why?

Thanks!

In this instance I personally would go with the FAST78.
From what I have seen it will most likely make a bit more power and you have the ability to "upgrade" to the 90mm version at a later date. Also, resale on the FAST would be better in most cases.

I would say go for the fast 78mm in this case.

Yeah...it looks prettier....and you can claim it's the 90mm setup so it looks like you got the big power and the big bucks! Hehe

I'd take 78 FAST over LS6 any day.

Go for it! You can upgrade the top shell and get a 90mm TB later on.

Any sponsor that's a FAST dealer should be able to get it for you. BYUNSpeed even has it listed.

I would definatly call and make sure it will work though, as I'm not positive. You'll also need a 90mm throttle body in case you forgot about that one.
