Default Picked up +19/27 w/ American Racing Headers! (see inside)

So, Nick @ ARH just called to give me some #'s...

341/347

That's +19/27 from the previous baseline #'s of 322/320

The ONLY change was American Racing Headers 1 7/8" primary headers and catted y-pipe.
Other than that the car is COMPLETELY STOCK down to the paper air filter and stock tune going through a Moser 12 bolt

I can't wait till the complete TD set-up is done to see what it puts down

Thanks again to Nick and the guys @ American Racing Headers
For more details on the headers click HERE

They definitly do make them w/o fittings...mine don't have EGR or AIR!

If you want a different sensor placement I'm sure Nick @ ARH could do something for you.
Although, they did A LOT of fitting etc. on these to make them the best they could possibly be...if I remember correctly the driver-side sensor is on the outside while the passender-side is on the inside, I'm sure this was the best possible fitment/location

Those #'s were with headers & y-pipe with cats both from American Racing Headers
That being the ONLY change to the car

Why did you go with 1 7/8? Not that it is a bad thing, but a smaller primary (1 3/4) will yield a lil more tq on a 346 down low. I've heard this before and a local shop laid two 02 z06 graphs both with LG headers, one 1 7/8 and one with 1 5/8, same cam shaft, and same tuner. The 1 3/4 header car made a lil more down low, and the graphs were on top of each other in the upper rpm bands...

Cam will definitly come in due time...just waiting on the duals to be done and then the rest of the bolt-on's will be thrown on...

Those #'s and gains were with ONLY the headers and y-pipe being changed...EVERYTHING else on the car is stock = paper filter, lid, catback, tune, etc. etc. etc....ALL stock!
The only 'mod' was my Moser 12 bolt...so the #'s would have actually been higher through the stock rear
I thought this car was strong, but DAMN!

I'm really curious what this bitch will put down once the dual's are done, full bolt-on's and a tune

I'm planning in an ATI D1SC set-up in the future...so figured I'd just do it right the first time.
It won't hurt me that much for now anyways...so why not

No, it was not posted. It was a graph with 1 3/4 layed over 1 7/8. Done by a local non-sonsoring shop.

As mentioned, they are 1 7/8" primaries

Although they are not a sponsor yet, there is a link to a sponsor who sells them in my original post and HERE

You could also pm me for direct contact info as well If you'd like

...I was referring to this post. ive always wondered how an ls1 would do with 1 /58, seeing as its only a 346". dont some people say that they lose a little down low even with the 1 3/4?
