Default window switch and e-cutout is it possible?

i was thinking about this the other day. what if i wired a electric cutout up to a window switch...

set the rpm cruise around and when i get on it if i pass the desired rpm it will open her up.

which electric cutout is the best?

DMH?
QTP?

others? please list if there is any other good ones.

would this be possible?

Cool idea. I'm not sure how the window switch would interface with the cutout. Either way, get a DMH cutout, QTP's are pieces of ****.

Why wouldn't you just it the switch before you got in it. Also it takes a little bit for the cutout to open up. Its not just a split second type thing. I like my qtp but there are some little problems with the design but nothing you can't fix over time.

this is true it does take a little bit to open the cutout but i figure why not set it for like 4000rpm + so that way its quiet and when i actually get on it it will be loud plus i hate messing with switches and stuff. just a thought

you could also do some sort of manual throttle sensor. Since you wont be digging into the throttle for minutes at a time, you wont have to worry about it burning up the electric motor in the cutout.

QTP sells an electronic controller that can be hooked up to a throttle switch that will open your cut -out on w.o.t. and close it when you let off.

i think that the elec. cut outs open to slow for this to work...

plus you would wear the damn thing out really fast!

not a bad idea though...

ps... the switches arent that hard to use.

Easy to do, been done before with success. At the end of the day though, most people prefer the cutout to be open at idle and low RPM, and closed up high. If you do it, make sure you still have an override switch to manually open it or keep it closed.
